BVAQ is Australia and Southeast Asia’s market leader for food testing, inspection and certification services and provides the largest food microbiology and chemistry capabilities throughout the region.

Founded in 1954 as Dairy Technical Services to provide expertise to Australia’s dairy industry, the company has evolved as a trusted partner in the food industry, maintaining NATA accreditation since 1961. Bureau Veritas successfully partnered with AsureQuality in the acquisition of Dairy Technical Services (DTS) in 2016 which allowed DTS to become a complete solution provider offering testing, inspection and certification.

In 2018 the partnership expanded to include Bureau Veritas and AsureQuality existing laboratories in Southeast Asia, including Permulab.
